SAIL-Robotics

In SAIL-Robotics, students have been learning about the different features of the Edison robots. Our latest accomplishment is line detection. Students wrote programs, incorporated line trackers on non-reflective surfaces, and indicated a change they wanted their robot to perform. Next week students will create obstacles that their robots must navigate through!

This week students started creating their own two-sentence horror stories! Our hopes are to share them with the school and have staff and students vote for their favorites...or the story that sends chills down their spines! 👻

Mission: Build a balloon-powered car that will travel 5 feet.   STEM career connection: Industrial Engineer Last week students brainstormed, and this week, they started to design and build! Some groups even got the chance to test out their design and began making adjustments. Test → Evaluate → Improve Students will be given another design/build session next week, and then it will be time to compete!  .                             .
